Is this a stupid idea?

Ok, I had a couple of ideas when walking home and I need to know if they make any sense or am I just high?



What if we had a program where if you wanted to get say 1/4 an ounce of weed what you would do is 8 hours during the course of the week doing something that utilizes your skills in a positive way for the community. If you fix cars you would give a day up where you did things like check out cars of people who needed a car but cant afford to get it fixed or don't know anything about cars but want to learn or even paint fence's at old people's house's, you are not allowed to get stoned while doing it and it should highly monitored and you will be paid at the end of your eight hours by picking your weed up like a prescription from the doctor (because it should be a controlled substance. just not controlled by organized crime). The weed you get will be nothing special, but for a little extra cash, say a five to ten pounds you could get some really good stuff thus adding more money to the coffers to pay for cancer research or bridges or MP's expense accounts.But I thought why stop there? why not modify it slightly and use it for getting people on benifits working and getting trained to do things that would be handy at some point in life. things like training everyone who is able to be trained up to a paramedic level of training, or how to put out a fire or sail a boat or be a lifeguard or even how to swim. The way I see is that there are so many jobs that anyone can learn to do in less than an hour that need to be done. get people who want to work, working and getting a little bit extra cash and loads of training,



But that got me thinking even more, why don't we have one day in the summer where we have a giant community feast where we all get together with everyone in our local area and have a feast. no more that 2 beers or 2 glasses of wine. drunk people don't get to stay but can have some food. Who's going to pay I hear you cry. Well we will you can put in time to set it up, cook for it, provide entertainment ect or donate cash. more people that donate time and money the better it will be. and it should be on the best forecast Friday of the summer. Sure you might not be able to go but when you get home there is gonna be some kick *** food waiting for you when you get there.

Before the American Revolution tea trade was managed by smugglers and criminals. When the English king brought the ';East India Company'; and gave them the monopoly allowing them to sell tea of better quality for less cash, the smugglers started the American Revolution under the excuse the end the taxes. People died, The king lost the country, taxes were not removed and the criminals controlled the country. The criminals will not give other criminals excuse to start a revolution. Nobody wants to pay tax for pot. And the service you mention will require financing, so there we go, tax for pot. Whats next, California Pot Party???Is this a stupid idea?
