Can someone teach me about investing?

well i just want to get a basic knowledge of investing. Like how do i get started? I dont mean how much money but what just go make a bank account and then go to stocks.com? Im only in middle school so i have no idea...and my dad doesnt invest, he got euntreprenour business to make him money.

Anyways

so i guess i have to make some kind of account and then where do i find a place with every single stock in the whole world? Then what i just click it and watch a line graph go up and down? Also can i just cash in whenever i want? Like in poker can you just leave when you won ur money back and then some or do u have to stick with it for a specific period of time? How does the amount of money u put in with the amount of growth in the stock become? like i guess the rate. Lets say you put in 5 bucks and the growth is 5 % so ur 5.00 X .05 is that how it works? Oh and then i have to put in time? or does that have to do with any of it at all?

And no insurance right? So if i loose 1 million dollars im gonna be in debt and never retire and then get diabeties and I cant get medicine and then die as a hobo whos bloodline has just been wiped out. Some tough love...Insurance is such bull **** anyways.

i wonder what other easy ways there are to make money at a young age...i mean when im 16 i can get some job and be a bagger and get paid minimum wage like a ******. Or i can sell lemonade...or i can boot leg dvds and sell them at school..or maybe i can be a drug dealer. I hear that a damn good business. buy a oz for like 400 and sell each g for 20. 28 X 20 make a 160 profit and then rip off some people. And then i can get some people to work for me. Then i can get like 4 oz which is cheaper, when u buy more at once. Like costco. then have 4 ppl. So that would be like 112 grams X 20 = 2240 then they get 75%. = 1680 then divide that by 4, so they all get 420 each. I get 560. And i dont do anything but get the 4 oz every week. Man now thats how you make money. So many stupid idiots who smoke weed. Or i can pull off an american beauty or fight club stunt with a boss.

Sigh idk guys if you dont help me with this i might be a very bad influence to the teenagers across the globe. Jeez and i still have to go to highschool..well school is bull **** too and i can just cheat and get a 4.0 and go to a party college....Still do okay on my SAT's and then party in college, and i guess i will have to study in college. Then i gotta get a girlfriend to cook for me. Then i have to get a stupid job and deal with my girl friend and her trying to make me go to stupid church.

thanks : ) plz dont call the police...or my dads gonna kick my *** im asian too u guys know what asian parents do to there kids right? Lucky white kids who get sent to there rooms with a TV and x box, probably have a stipper club in there rooms, and mini bar.

but thanks to whoever can properly answer my questionCan someone teach me about investing?
A great book ($15 +/- at Amazon.com) is ';Investing For Dummies.'; It explains the basics in easy-to-understand language. Can someone teach me about investing?
To start investing in stocks you'd open an account with a broker. There are plenty of online brokers - you see ads on TV all of the time. There are full service brokers, who charge high fees but advise you on what to buy (sometimes well, sometimes not). Online brokers typically just take your order on what you want to buy or sell. Their fees are much lower, but you'll still pay usually $10 or more each time you buy or sell, so if you're doing small amounts, that can really eat up any profit. If you own a stock you can sell it whenever you want to - same day, or 10 years later. There are other kind of stock trades also after you get more experience. And you're right, no insurance - you can lose all of your money if you buy something that goes down a lot.

You're a little young yet to be trading stocks, but starting to learn about it now is good. There are places where you can set up a ';pretend'; account that will track what would have happened if you had really been buying and selling.
Read the book, ';Investing for Dummies';.
